White slide tower with steel staircase and tube slides at Merwestein swimming pool

Which water slide suits you?

Five questions that make the choice easier.

Who is the slide for?

For families with children, a family slide is the obvious choice: parents and children slide side by side. For teenagers and adults, an open slide such as the Open 700, the DuoRacer or a tube slide fit well. On the Raft Cone the whole family rides together in a raft.

How many visitors should it handle?

Capacity varies widely by type. The Family Tube 1200 handles 200 people per hour, the Open 700 250, the DuoRacer 350 and the MultiSlide 250 per lane. A family slide handles 1000 people per hour, because several people slide at once.

How much space is there?

Width, slope and pump capacity per model are in the specification table. The standard requires free space around the rider and in the landing area; we include that in the design. If space indoors is limited, a tube slide can run (partly) outside the building.

Indoors or outdoors?

A slide outside the building needs attention to weather and heat loss. Read what indoors or outdoors means.

What experience are you looking for?

Attractions turn a slide into an experience: light effects, sound, AquaSmash or timing with Speedracer. A traffic light at the start makes a racer slide a real race. See all attractions.

Still unsure? We are happy to work with you on a design and a 3D model, so you can see how the slide fits your pool.

Frequently asked questions

Which slide has the highest capacity?

The family slide, at 1000 people per hour. On a slide with several lanes side by side, such as the MultiSlide, capacity rises by 250 people per hour per lane.

Can I combine several slides?

Yes. At Merwestein swimming pool in Nieuwegein, for example, there is a slide tower with tube slides, a wide family slide and two parallel slides with a traffic light.
