Installing a new slide with aerial platforms beside a swimming pool

How much does a water slide cost?

There is no fixed price: every slide is custom-made. But we can explain what determines the price.

Why there is no standard price

We design every AVASTO water slide for one specific site, target group and budget. Two slides with the same name can therefore turn out very differently: in length, height, number of bends and everything else needed around them. That is why we do not quote amounts on our website, but prepare a tailored quotation.

The main cost items

Type and length of the slide. A short open slide requires less material than a long tube slide, a raft slide or a slide with several lanes side by side. See the models in the specification table.

Height, stairs and support structure. The higher the start platform, the longer the stairs and the heavier the steel structure. We make these in our own NEN-EN 1090-1 certified production hall in Oudewater.

Water and pump technology. Every slide has its own water circuit with pump and pipework. The required pump capacity varies widely by model.

Indoors or outdoors. If the slide runs (partly) outside the building, items such as facade finishing and insulation are added.

Run-out and landing. A run-out, a splash-down pool or a modification to the pool affects the cost.

Options and attractions. Light effects, AquaSmash, timing or a traffic light can be included right away or added later.

Installation, inspection and building work. Think of installation on site, inspection after handover and any modifications to the building or foundations.

And a splash pad or renovation?

For a splash pad or water playground, the price is mainly determined by the number and type of play elements, the ground and the water technology. For a renovation it depends on the condition of the slide and on what needs to be done: repairing the polyester, a new coating, insulation, new stairs or extending it with effects. Read more in Renovating or extending a slide.

How to get a good quotation

The more we know, the more accurate the quotation. Useful to have: a floor plan or drawing of the site, the intended target group, indoor or outdoor, and if possible photos of the existing situation. We think along about shapes, colours and options, so the design fits your budget.

Frequently asked questions

Do you give indicative prices?

No. Because every slide is custom-made, an indicative price would be misleading. We prepare a tailored quotation based on your situation.

Can I add options later?

Yes. Most attractions, such as light effects, timing and AquaSmash, can also be retrofitted to an existing slide.
