Who are we?
This website belongs to AVASTO B.V., located at Populierenweg 41, 3421 TX Oudewater, the Netherlands, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 73351938. AVASTO comprises AVASTO Recreation Technology, AVASTO Steel Construction, AVASTO Control Systems and the brands SprayWave and Pooljoy. AVASTO is the controller for the processing of the personal data described in this statement.

Which data do we process and why?
Enquiries, quotations and orders
If you call or email us, request a quotation or place an order, we process the data you provide: your name, company name, job title, email address, telephone number, address and the content of your question or project. We do this to answer your question, prepare a quotation and carry out the order (performance of a contract), and to keep our accounts (legal obligation).
Job applications
If you apply for a job with us, we process the data in your application, such as your CV and cover letter, in order to assess your application.
Website visits and company recognition
When you visit our website, we record which pages you view, which website or campaign brought you to us, your browser language and screen width, and whether you download a brochure, start a video or click on our telephone number or email address. In doing so, we process your IP address and the data your browser sends along (user agent). Based on the network from which you visit the site, we can sometimes recognise which company the visit comes from.
We do this on the basis of our legitimate interest in improving our website and following up on business interest. We do not use cookies for this and store nothing on your device. Visitors are not tracked across multiple days. If you have enabled “Do Not Track” or “Global Privacy Control” in your browser, we do not record your visit. You can object to this processing at any time via mail@avasto.nl.
Cookies
Our website does not place cookies and does not use third-party trackers. That is why you will not see a cookie banner on our site.
YouTube videos only load when you click the play button yourself, via the privacy-friendly domain youtube-nocookie.com. From that moment, YouTube (Google) may process data in accordance with its own privacy policy. The same applies to links to other websites, such as Google Maps for directions, LinkedIn, YouTube and Instagram: the terms of those parties apply on their websites.
How long do we keep your data?
- We keep data on quotations, orders and invoices for as long as the law requires; for the financial records, this is seven years.
- We delete application data no later than four weeks after the end of the procedure, unless you give permission to keep it longer.
- For website visits, we truncate full IP addresses after seven days, so that they can no longer be traced back to a single connection. We keep the other visit data for a maximum of thirteen months.
Do we share your data?
We do not sell your data. We only share it with parties that help us provide our services, such as our hosting, email and accounting providers, or if the law requires us to do so. Website visit data is stored on our own server; we do not sell or share it. To determine which organisation a network belongs to, we consult the public registration data of the network at the internet registries (RDAP, such as RIPE NCC) and the public host name of the IP address (reverse DNS).
Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss and unauthorised access. Our website is only accessible via a secure connection.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to its use or have its use restricted, and to have your data transferred. Send your request to mail@avasto.nl; we will respond within one month. If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
