What we did
For café Le Journal in Utrecht we made wrought-iron balustrades, a stair handrail, a gate and the ironwork with round arches in the partition walls, all with classic ornaments. We assembled the parts on the welding table in our workshop in Oudewater and then installed them on site.
The ironwork has to follow the exact contour of the wooden stair handrail. That is why we first 3D-printed the curved sections, as a template for bending and fitting the ironwork.
On interior projects we work with the client, the architect or the interior fit-out company. They create the design; we take care of the metalwork, from detailing and production to installation.
Our work on this project

- a wrought-iron stair handrail that follows the wooden handrail
